Maria recently moved back to Fort Worth, TX from Las Vegas, NV. She graduated from Trimble Technical High School of Fort Worth, TX in 1999. A year later, Maria enlisted into the United States Air Force and went through Basic Military Training in San Antonio, TX. After completion of her training as a Transportation Apprentice, she was sent to Holloman AFB, NM. While in the Air Force, she had the opportunity to enjoy some traveling throughout the United States, Germany, Spain, France, Turkey, and Iraq. During her enlistment she earned her Associates of Science in Transportation. After 9 years of service, Maria decided to terminate her active military service and join the Texas Air National Guard in Fort Worth, TX to finish her B.S. in Aviation Logistics. She is currently attending Tarrant County Community College to complete some basic classes, but will be transferring to Embery-Riddle Aeronautical University for the 2011 fall semester. Her main goal is to complete her degree, serve the United States Air Force as a commissioned officer, and travel a little more.
